Help us support seniors by preparing and distributing supplemental food packages to close critical gaps in access. This initiative is funded in partnership with Farm Credit Services of America Working Here Grant, ADM Cares, Harrah’s /Caesar Foundation, Nebraska Presbyterian Foundation, Columbus Area United Way, Walmart Spark Good Grant, and East Central District Health Department.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
Pack 400 individual food bags
Load bags for transport to the distribution site (Harrah’s parking lot)
Transport 400 lbs. of beef from Simon House to distribution site (Harrah’s parking lot)
Assist with on-site distribution
Important Notes:
Teams must have access to a truck with a hitch to pull a trailer (we provide the trailers)
Estimated time commitment: ~3 hours per distribution day
